My name is Tarun Reddy, and for nearly four years, Stamford wasn't just a place I lived — it became home.
Some of my best memories were made exploring local restaurants, finding hidden dessert spots, attending community events, and discovering places that never showed up in a simple Google search. I knew which coffee shop had the best espresso on Bedford Street. I knew the rooftop bar with no sign. I knew the tiny Salvadoran restaurant locals had been going to for years.
Stamford has an incredible local community — restaurants run by families, bars where you become a regular, events that feel like they were made for the people who live there. But finding them? That was the problem.
Every weekend I found myself doing the same thing: opening six different apps, scrolling for 30 minutes, and still not knowing where to go. Ticketmaster for events. Yelp for restaurants. Instagram for hidden gems. Google Maps for directions. The weather app to check if outdoor plans made sense.
It was exhausting. And I wasn't alone. Every person I talked to in Stamford had the same frustration — they wanted to enjoy their city, but the friction of planning got in the way.
That's why I started building WeekendlyVibe.AI.
Our mission is simple: Stop Searching. Start Living.
I wanted to build something that gives back to the restaurant community, local businesses, event organizers, and everyone who calls Stamford home. An app that actually knows the city — not just the tourist spots, but the real Stamford. The one locals know and love.
WeekendlyVibe.AI starts with Stamford because I know it best. I can personally verify every recommendation. I know which restaurants are worth the price. I know which events are worth the drive.
When we've built the best possible experience here, we expand. Norwalk. Greenwich. White Plains. New Haven. And eventually, cities everywhere.
But we'll never rush it. Every city gets the same care Stamford gets.
As one of our earliest users, your feedback will directly shape the future of WeekendlyVibe.AI. Thank you for being part of this journey.
See you around Stamford!
